🔹 When converting between units, multiply when converting to a smaller unit and divide when converting to a larger unit.
🔹 To solve problems like "939m more than 9km 257m":
- Convert everything to the same unit (e.g., meters)
- 9km 257m = 9000m + 257m = 9257m
- Add 939m: 9257m + 939m = 10196m
- Convert back to km and m: 10km 196m
