Building Heights

Welcome to your construction site! I'm Alexa, your site manager. We're building pillars today. To calculate the total height of a structure, we need to understand the relationship between the number of bricks and the height each brick contributes.

The formula for calculating total height is simple but powerful:

Total Height = Number of Bricks × Height per Brick

This formula works because bricks are stacked vertically, and each brick adds to the total height of the structure.

Pillar Project

Height: 0 cm
Adjust the controls to see how the pillar grows. Each brick adds to the total height!

Construction Costs

Great work on the pillar! Now we need to calculate construction costs. When purchasing bricks, it's essential to calculate the total cost based on quantity and prices.

The basic formula for cost calculation is:

Total Cost = Quantity × Price per Brick

Often bricks are sold in bulk, so we need to adjust our calculations accordingly:

Total Cost = (Quantity ÷ 100) × Price per Hundred

For multiple brick types, we calculate each separately and sum them up.

Wall Project

We have 3 brick types available. Adjust quantities to see how it affects the total cost!
