Vertical Bar Charts

Pictographs use pictures to represent data! Each picture stands for a certain quantity.

Apples:
Apple Apple Apple
= 6 apples
Butterflies:
Butterfly Butterfly Butterfly Butterfly
= 12 butterflies

Key: Each Apple = 2 apples, Butterfly = 3 butterflies

How to read pictographs:

  1. Look for the key to understand picture value
  2. Count the pictures for each category
  3. Multiply picture count by picture value
  4. Compare different categories

Key: Each emoji = 1 item

How to Create Your Pictograph:

  1. Look at the Key above to see what each emoji represents
  2. For each product:
    • Calculate: Number of emojis = Total Sold รท Key Value
    • Use Add (+) and Remove (-) buttons to get the correct number
  3. Example: If Key Value is 2 and Total Sold is 8, you need 4 emojis
  4. Click Check My Pictograph when finished
