In India, we use coins and notes called rupees (₹). 

Coins are small (like ₹1, ₹2, ₹5) and notes are big (like ₹10, ₹20, ₹50).

Let’s look at coins and notes and learn to count them!

To compare money amounts:

1️⃣ Add up the value of all coins and notes in each set

2️⃣ Compare the total values

3️⃣ The set with the higher total value is greater

Adding money is just like regular addition—but we use rupee (₹) symbols!

1️⃣ Look at the money amounts. Each one tells you how many rupees there are.

2️⃣ Add the numbers as you normally would—just like adding ₹10 + ₹20 = ₹30.
